Spotted this billboard ad just around the corner from the [8bit office]. It's actually been up a really long time and the best thing about it is no one would know what it was unless they're into gaming. A sign that gaming is getting that big where no explanation billboard ads actually work. We all saw the crazy ad campaign for GTA IV but Left 4 Dead? I guess it helps when you have a cash cow behind you. Either way I plan to pick it up - and this billboard actually worked cause I went to the site today, l4d.com, and got excited about blasting zombies with friends. Damn you advertising - getting me again.

We PS3 owners know you all in the Xbox crowd are jealous when it comes to a few key aspects of our hardware. Superior engineering and design, mostly. We sypothize. Microsoft just doesn't care about you the way Sony cares about us. They couldn't be bothered by taking the time to do the hardware right. A first step toward resolving this can be purchased on Ebay now. An industrious modder has taken the guts of a 360 and stuffed them into the elegant Piano Black case of the Playstation. Can you feel the envy? Place your bid! 12 others have I post this. [Ebay via Gizmodo]
