In very disappointing news, especially here at the [8bit office], it seems Activision is canning the new Ghostbusters video game along with a few others. Activision Blizzard submitted their upcoming release schedule with no mention of the game along with 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand and Brutal Legend. Staff at High Moon Studios and Radical Entertainment will be seeing a realignment and Massive Entertainment and Swordfish studios are both possibly looking at closure or being sold. Activision publishing CEO Mike Griffith stated, "We are focused on improving efficiency across the combined organisation and are concentrating on businesses where we have leadership positions that are aligned with Activision Publishing's long-term corporate objectives."
